Author Message clon22 Moderator Joined: 19 Nov 2007 Posts: 2738 Location: Karakura Town Corsair 2GB x 2 6400C5DHX : Not bad... Hehe, hooted a pair of corsair 2 x 2gb 6400C5DHX today... Previous I had a pair of 4gb OCZ 4-4-3-15 EB Reapers. (Have since sold them away.) I didn't know 4gb rams dropped so much liao... kekeke.. Excited.. Didn't test too long this time.. But the results are not bad i find... kekeke... Hardware : E8400 / P35 neo2-fr See if they can match my previous reapers... Not bad... kekeke... 800mhz - 4-4-3-10 @ 2v Went until 858mhz @ 2.2v but didn't have time to do testing... Agar agar... keke... I very impressed with the trp clocks.. heehee... CL5 managed 1066mhz @ 2.0v, 1100 @ 2.1v and 1120 @ 2.2v. But trp all @ 3clocks... not bad.. Able to boot @ 1140 but cannot load windows. 1120 was good for spi32m.. kekeke... Who scouting for 2x2gb... can consider this pair... Juz a note...the ones i got are v4.1.. More ram to do more stuffs now!... Recently oso bought a pair of v2.1 c5dhx 2gb. http://futron.sg/forum/viewtopic.php?t=294 Time to match them up... heehee... 6GB of ram @ 1067mhz @ 2.1v 5-5-4-15, Not bad... Dual spi32m... Vista Ultimate ppl... 8gb is now good... heehee.... Anyway, juz post to share share some results... If u hit a wall like say 860mhz.. where other ppl with the same pair doing 1100mhz... Go into ur bios and adjust the tRFC value to a higher like say, 52,56,62... according to your testings... Mine required 48.... Another way is to edit the default trfc value using spdtool... so you dun need to always adjust... sshh... wun void warrany one.. no one will know... kekeke... No need to always set... o/c fail... or reset cmos... then have to always go and changes... Thats all you need.. kekeke.... overall speed may be slightly slower but @ least no need to keep changing.. Change to higher value can liao... hehe.. Juz sharing only... if ram die dun find me... =:p kekeke... After Edited.. Wah kao... everywhere no stock... Only place is Cybermind... But priced @ 2x the price of PCThemes. PCthemes $188, Cybermind $389... went to see... exactly the same pair.. Sad sad... Like dat my ram value went up? Kekeke. :p heehee... One more thing... Went PCThemes.. again saw longsiew... kekeke... I saw corsair got the same type of chipset as the 2gb n 1gb sticks..
